Faculty of Communication Sciences

The Faculty of Communication Sciences offers different courses in the IC field or courses in which IC topics are introduced; e.g. courses of Profs. E. Poglia, Grin, Cantoni, Richeri, Cesari, etc.

The Faculty offers a Master in Intercultural Communication for professionals of this field, called MIC (Master in Intercultural Communication) with the contribution of professors and participants coming from several European countries and other continents.

USI is partner of two important European Networks within the field of IC: EMICC (European Master in Intercultural Communication) and ERIC (European Resources for Intercultural Communication).

Many publications of professors collaborating at the project are within the IC field.

Poglia is the Scientific Director of the MIC and he teaches courses at the USI about IC. He has also operational experience in IC since he was responsible at federal level for migrant’s education.
